Today, I am thankful for these simple pleasures...
Yesterday's farmers market bouquet, sitting on the kitchen table...
Meatloaf baking in the oven...
Being able to bake my sisters birthday cheesecake...
The crepe myrtle tree blooming in the front yard...
Chickens that wait and pace and squawk at the coop door, wanting to come out...
Collecting daily gifts from said chickens...
Post yoga snacks of apple slices, peanut butter, and lemon water...
Fifty cent onesies, along with a moses basket from a local consignment shop...
And a growing belly, that although it makes me feel a bit self conscious, I know there is a precious soul growing in there. :)

What a delightful post, dear Angel! I enjoyed these simple pleasures with you today... And can I say how impressed I am by your hen house? The bunting is too darling...I am so inspired to increase my flock of chickens now! {{Smiles}}
ReplyDeleteAh, I am smiling so broadly now - how wonderful to know all is well with you and your precious wee one in the womb...I am excited to be able to meet him or her on your blog early next year! Babies are the sweetest things... Will you be finding out the gender of your little one?
Have a wonderful weekend, Angel! What a joy it is to visit your blog and be reminded to embrace the simple things in life! Today I am thankful for... Fresh warm milk from our cow, early morning coffee with Jesus...a stormy day which is perfect for doing some handwork and little sisters who make me laugh!
And thank you for your sweet comment on my blog! It made my day extra special!
Hugs and love and special prayer for you!

I am so glad you found such great bargains for your precious baby! I can't wait until you know the gender so I can start showering the baby with gifts.
Are you having any cravings?
I wanted to surprise you with a care package, but wanted to ask if there are certain items you would especially enjoy? I want this package to be all things for Angel, then the next one will be all things for baby.
You are such a lovely person! I would be thrilled if you would allow me to spoil you during this fun season!
Hope you're having a lovely day!
Your friend, Jordan
Oh! I can't wait to find out either, so I can get more gender specific clothing, instead of mostly gray and white. By September/October we will know. :D
DeleteAnd girl, you are TOO sweet. I will allow, but I do not expect anything at all. ;) Cravings? Anything with peanut butter. :P And more sleep.
