Happily Ever After, Part 1

It's been way too long getting these on here, but finally I am here to share with you the most precious of days to me. My wedding day. A day I dreamed and prayed for my entire life. A day full of both sad and happy tears. A day full of hellos and goodbyes.A day I will always cherish and remember GOD's hand in bringing me to that day. I hope you enjoy...

The entire week was crazy busy! Me and my entire family were at our church everyday decorating and preparing food. I thought the day would never arrive, but finally it did. Bright and early Saturday April 6th, 2013.

My hair appointment was at 10 that morning. Enough time to have some pictures done before the wedding at two.

Me walking our my parents front door, the final time as a single woman...

Hugging my daddy goodbye. Crying, I realized that by beginning a new life, I was leaving a very wonderful one behind...

Hair all done, fixing to dress with my mama...

My sister/maid of honor getting ready...

I chose to comfort over style that day...

While I was dressing, Justin was getting pics done with his family...

His niece was the flower girl...

And nephew the ring bearer...

then he went back into hiding, while I had my pics done...

Me and my family...

This pic is probably my fave as it shows each of us to the fullest...

Me with my sissy...

More tears as I realized how much I was going to miss her in the coming days...

I am now Aunt Angel...

My grandma...

My granddaddy...

More tears. Thank goodness for waterproof mascara...

We wanted to follow the tradition of not seeing each other till the wedding, but still wanted to have contact. So we went to a back Sunday school room, and each stood on the side of the divider...

Then we closed eyes, joined hands, and Justin led us in prayer...

Pictures all done, and there were just a few moments left...

Feeling as calm and confident that this was GOD's will for me, all I could do was stand by the window a few moments, and silently thank HIM for his goodness in allowing me to marry my best friend...

Part two is coming up next... :D

Well hello there! Thanks for stopping by! I LOVE to hear from you all out there. Just please remember to keep everything kind and Christ-like. In the words of that wise papa rabbit, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all". :)
