Of Farm Animals and Ferris Wheels...

Good day friends and family! I pray you are all having a wonderful day in our LORD! It's a cold one here in my part of NC. The temps have only reached about 52 and the wind has been blowing out of the north at about 15 mph. And what a wind chill it has created! Brrr... is about all I can say about this weather. :)

How have you all been? Things have been moving steadily along here for me. My K-3 teaching job has kept me fairly busy. But I am so enjoying it this year. The kids are so well behaved, and willing to obey. That always makes the teaching experience enjoyable.

The homestead life is ticking like clock work. Animals are fed and milked daily, and all are thriving.

And of course the leaves are changing colors and shedding their leaves...

This weekend was a fairly busy one off the homestead. Last Friday our church held a fall festival. It was a night full of Bible character costumes, games, and food for all. I dress like Ruth and was in charge of face painting. (in case you were wondering, Justin was dressed as Boaz ;) ) :D

Face painting my Daddy...

I was able to spend Saturday with Justin's family. And I got to spend plenty of time holding his 4 month old niece. :D Then Sunday was spent in church, followed by a restful afternoon at home.

Monday evening my family visited my absolute favorite fall activity, the county fair! There were plenty of rides, cotton candy, lights, laughter, and cold wind blowing in the face. :D

My brother and I...

Loved the changing lights on the Ferris wheel...

Thank you LORD for all of these blessing you have bestowed on me this last week. :)

Have a wonderfully blessed day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Well hello there! Thanks for stopping by! I LOVE to hear from you all out there. Just please remember to keep everything kind and Christ-like. In the words of that wise papa rabbit, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all". :)
