Of K-3 and Hunting
Can anyone say brrr...? It is freezing outside today. Well, at least freezing to me. I mean, how else can you describe such a balmy temp of 58 degrees? Oh well, fall is here and I better get use to the thing, like it or not. I mean, we only have 281 days until summer comes around again... ;)
So, how are you? I pray life has been going wonderfully for you. Things have been pretty good here. My K-3 teaching job started up last week. And it has been going wonderfully! The only issue I have had so far is a little case of separation anxiety. But, only for a little while after the child is dropped off. But thankfully, it doesn't last too long, and he is actually able to enjoy himself and play happily with the other children. :D
Other than school, and usual daily work around the homestead, life has been pretty calm. Just usual life goings on.
I did get to go bow hunting with Justin for the first time this weekend. And let me tell you, I am hooked! There is nothing quite sitting up in a tree stand, in the early morning, or evening, with all GOD's wonderful creation surrounding you. It is truly beautiful.
I have not even attempted to shoot at a deer yet. The first time I even got a glimpse of one was last evening. And that was a fast moving doe. Hopefully I will have the opportunity of bagging one this year. Deer meat is pretty tasty, and I really want some of it. :D
Well, I think that is pretty much it for news around here. Hope your week has been going great too! :D
Have a wonderfully blessed day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
