It is sad to think about, but summer is drawing to a close. Soon, warm breezes will be replaced with chilling winds, and long nights will take the place of long days.
I'm going to miss these summer days. They passed by all too fast this year. But, I guess I'm looking forward to fall décor, hunting, and county fairs. Just not the cool weather so much... :P
This past week ended my summer vacation from my K-3 teaching job. Open house was Thursday night, so much time went into preparing for that. And it went well. I met one student and talked with
parents some.
Here is what I wore...
The skirt is a recent $7 find from Ross. :D It's so comfy, with an elastic waist band.
The shirt is from Clothes Mentor. I went there for the first time this past week. They were a bit pricey on some things. But this shirt was reasonable at $5.
Tuesday night is orientation at school, and the first day back is Thursday.
I'll admit there are mixed emotions on returning this year. On one hand I am excited about serving, spending time with young ones, and seeing their eagerness to learn 2 days a week. Then on the other hand, I'm very much going to miss serving as a full time stay at home wife.
But this is where the LORD has placed me, and I am going to serve as best I can. HE has a purpose for me teaching that K-3 class, and I'm going to strive to fulfill that purpose for HIS honor and glory.
Has summer mostly ended for you? What are you looking forward to this fall?
Have a wonderfully blessed day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Cute outfit! LOVE IT! <3
ReplyDeleteThank-you! :D
DeleteWhat a lovely outfit, Angel! You look beautiful! I pray that all your little ones will be super attentive and eager to learn this year, and that God will give you peace in where He has placed you. Teaching is always difficult because it is so vitally important, even just teaching very basic things; but God is Himself the greatest Teacher, so He understands the joys and difficulties that you face, and He will be right there with you as you work. :-) And I'm sure your husband is proud of your work and your gentle spirit.
ReplyDeleteHugs and prayers for you, dear friend!! Enjoy the exciting (though chaotic!) opening days of the school year!
